The latest news from luxury hotel group One&Only comes at just the right time. Because it will open the brand-new One&Only Aesthesis on the Athens Riviera in the middle of next year. Glamour at the Aegean Sea
The first images suggest as much as the brand’s reputation: the One&Only Aesthesis will be an architectural gem. It’s located just outside of town, right on a sprawling stretch of beach in Glyfada. The panorama is defined by the sparkle of the blue ocean. It is dotted with small islands in the distance. And nearby, a retreat of 127 rooms, suites and private villas awaits travelers.
The entire resort is designed in a pretty retro style. Glamour from the 1950s comes to life again here. And it does so without that stuffy feeling. High-quality materials, such as woven leather, restrained colors, and sparsely used patterns make the One&Only Aesthesis seem timeless. But chic through and through. If you know a little about Greek culture, you’ll spot reverences to the country in many corners.
Highlights at One&Only Aesthesis
The resort covers a total of 21 hectares. Top: Planned are separate areas for families and those reserved exclusively for adults. Numerous pools, including private ones, are part of the hotel, as are two restaurants. The latter indulge in authentic Greek cuisine. Seafood, mezze, vegan and meat from local and sustainable production are on the menu.
Those seeking relaxation are best advised to head to the spa. That’s because it operates according to the Chenot method. Put simply, this combines scientific knowledge with traditional medicine. The result is said to be increased performance, a stronger immune system and greater well-being. Active people never miss a workout day, thanks to a state-of-the-art fitness center with indoor and outdoor areas.
